TPP are working with a leading membership organisation for health professionals, and are supporting the search for a new Director of Policy and Communications.
In this senior leadership role, you work to successfully influence policy at a national and UK level, engaging and informing members and stakeholders of the organisation's work, vision, mission and charitable objects. The organisation has an ambitious membership engagement and growth agenda and your marketing and communications expertise will provide leadership for this work.
You will lead a small team of staff with responsibility for policy, public affairs and parliamentary engagement, undertake strategic analysis to inform and advise policy development, advocate organisational policy and successfully influence partners, senior civil servants and stakeholders. You will also represent the charity in the media, manage communications and PR activity (including digital media), manage the organisation's suite of publications, and develop and implement a clear marketing plan to support organisational targets.
In order to be considered, you will have a proven and successful track record of policy influence at the highest level; experience of partnership working and network development; as well as strategic marketing and communications expertise.
