HelpAge International is the leading global NGO working on ageing and older people’s issues. They bring together a wide range of organisations and individuals working to promote the rights and meet the needs of older women and men, nationally and/or internationally. Having moved through a period of organisational change designed to deepen their expertise and strengthen the way in which they support their growing number of network members, it is an exciting time to be joining HelpAge International’s global leadership team.

HelpAge are seeking to appoint an inspiring Director of Global Impact & Resourcing, a new role created to drive the delivery of their ambitious new vision. As ageing takes a more central place on the global development and humanitarian agenda, HelpAge are transitioning to a future where they will focus increasingly on working through a network of age-focused organisations across the globe.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone to shape further evolution and help HelpAge have a clear purpose and forward-looking agenda. You will strategically develop the global network approach and harness the expertise and reach of this network to shape the ageing agenda for the 21st century. You will have in depth knowledge of development and humanitarian programmes and policy issues as well as a demonstrable track record in innovative resourcing through diversifying funding sources. Above all you will be entrepreneurial and have an absolute focus on making a difference.

For more information on this exciting challenge and to apply, please visit www.helpagejobs.org

The closing date is Monday 19th June 2017 at 09:30hrs and interviews will be run late June and early July.

We value diversity at TPP and welcome applications from all sections of the community.
