One of the world's most influential dance education organisations and examination board are recruiting for a Director of Examinations to be a member of the Executive Board as well as direct the various functions of the examinations business with particular regard to strategy, policy, development, quality assurance, and external and regulatory matters.

This is an incredible opportunity to manage a passionate and dedicated team with a vast global reach, covering over 80 countries; 250,000 candidates a year and generating £12million in revenue.

As someone with leadership or senior management experience with an awarding organisation, examinations board or HE institute, you will be responsible for the full examinations lifecyle, ensuring exceptional customer service and standards from candidate registration through to certification and results as well as hold the Responsible Officer title and duties.

You will have an excellent understanding of assessment and examination theory especially in areas such as standardisation, moderation, grade boundaries and mark schemes and ideally have an interest in the performing arts in order to engage with examiners, teachers and other professionals and academics in the field and assess their training and development needs.

As part on the Executive Board you will bring your experience of contributing to the creation and implementation of a business strategy and also use this knowledge within the directorate to look at ways of improving efficiency and effectiveness of process.

This is an exciting time to become part of the organisation as in the next 24months will see them celebrate their centenary, move office locations and end one 5year plan and devise and implement a new one, all of which this role will be an integral part of.
