A leading Professional Body who develop world class leaders, teachers and trainers in the Further Education Sector are recruiting for a Director of Design and Development on a full time, permanent basis.
The role will be based in central London with some flexible/home working allowed.
As the Director of Design and Development, you will work in collaboration with the other Director within this directorate to lead a team of National Heads who are subject experts in their own areas, to support the planning, design, development, implementation and delivery strategies in relation to CPD design methodology, content and quality assurance.
You will be responsible for the continuous review and assessment of the CPD offer and will oversee the team's contribution to CPD product development and quality assurance processes. You will use your exceptional team management experience to work with the subject experts to help them apply their expertise to the design and delivery work and work effectively in collaboration with external partners.
As a member of the extended Senior Management Team, you will also help to build external presence, influence and credibility.
To be considered for this role, you must be able to demonstrate skills, knowledge and experience in the following areas;
-designing and leading improvement programmes/projects within CPD/professional development
-credibility across the FE sector
-driving and leading a team to deliver national programmes
-proven track record of innovation and leadership within CPD/professional development
-managing major projects and budgets with accountability for achieving delivery outcomes to robust timeframes
-self motivated and proactive with exceptional interpersonal skills
