Offering generous benefits, a professional development charity has a new exciting opportunity to join them as Director of Corporate Services. You will be instrumental in managing the team of Corporate Services' Directors and Heads and the effective deployment of resources, balancing tensions between services and with operations and ensuring the effective prioritisation of significant business activity. This is a permanent role based in London offering hybrid working options.

You will be taking accountability for the oversight of the key departmental areas working within this Directorate. These include Finance, Human Resources (HR), Commissioning & Procurement (C&P) and Information Management and Technology (IMT). Oversight of these departmental areas means jointly taking responsibility for the financial success of the organisation, excellence in our HR business partnering, oversight of robust commissioning and procurement activity, and the most effective and efficient application of our approach to IMT.

Lead the Corporate Services' contributions to wider commercial and business development strategy, including commissioning relevant analysis, input and activity from leads in the director to help further the strategic activity. Work with the Finance Director (FD) to develop and lead finance and accounting strategy, to optimise the charity's financial performance and strategic position. Play a lead role in improving the diversity of the workforce. Work with the Head of Commissioning & Procurement to ensure that the organisational strategy is robust and meets the needs of the grants, contracts and professionalism requirements.

Essential experience includes prior oversight of Finance functions, experience leading Information and Management and IT teams and understanding of core compliance requirement for Procurement and HR, plus a background that gives you a clear understanding of the institutional funding or similar landscape.

It is not necessary to have a finance qualification to apply. You need to demonstrate that you have experience of managing at a senior level across the key areas of business above and how you have drawn resources across an organisation to deliver on multiple key business activities effecting multiple division projects.
