We are working with a fantastic London-based youth charity with a national campaigning agenda to recruit a Director of Communications and Marketing. Reporting to the CEO and working as part of a close knit senior management team, you will lead and motivate a team of 16 to ensure the delivery of the charity's communications and marketing strategy.

You will work to ensure that the work of the charity is in the public eye and that the charity is recognised as authoritative and effective by leading media, PR, campaigning and policy work. A key priority will be to grow awareness of the organisation's work with consumer audiences to support fundraising activity. The charity has experienced a period of significant growth and now has a strong regional presence - you will work to strengthen internal communications to ensure collaboration and consolidation of organisational culture.

To be considered for this role, you will be a strategic leader - deeply committed to reducing disadvantage for children. You will be digitaly-confident, creative and collaborative. Experience within the charity sector is not necessarily required for this role, so if you are looking for your first opportunity within the charity space, this could be a fantastic opportunity.
