The TPP Recruitment team are supporting a London-based health charity with the search to a Director of Communications and Engagement. This is a 12 month fixed term contract, reporting to the CEO, and is a key role for the charity with responsibility for Digital Marketing, Social Media strategy, Health Information Communication, Press and PR and for all Design work.
Specifically, you will:
- Oversee and inspire a team of 15 staff (6 direct reports)
- Review the organisation's brand strategy and communications work to identify creative and novel approaches for communications (with a particular emphasis on social media, digital engagement, and digital fundraising)
- Oversee cohesion of content within the organisational brand - including websites, news stories, press releases, corporate information, social media, blogs and policy products
- Develop and manage the departmental budget
In order to be considered for this role, you should be able to demonstrate previous experience in using digital media to deliver communications objectives and a specialist knowledge of at least 3 of the following areas: press and PR, digital/social media, website oversight, branding, campaigning or digital fundraising. You will also have experience of leading teams of staff, with strong project management and budget monitoring skills.
