A world-famous British humanitarian charity is currently recruiting for a Direct Marketing Officer to join their London office ASAP on a permanent contract.

You will be required to create compelling and engaging fundraising materials, researching and writing copy for said materials, and working with external agencies to develop new ideas for testing.

Working with external agencies to ensure the cost-effective delivery of campaigns, you will need to effectively manage budgets and tight campaign schedules, negotiating costs and recording all expenditure.

You will be able to contribute to the planning process and the development of the charity's direct marketing strategy. This will include reviewing past activity and offering recommendations on improvements for future campaigns.

The successful applicant will have demonstrable experience of working in a busy direct marketing environment, including experience of direct marketing campaign management. Ideally, you will have hands-on experience of the mechanics of managing direct mail, telemarketing and/or email campaigns.
