Are you a talented marketer looking for a role that makes a real difference? As the Direct Marketing Executive you will work on the retention programme for this well-known health charity as they look to grow their income.

As their Direct Marketing Executive, you will support the Direct Marketing Manager in boosting their voluntary income through innovative campaigns and products. You will work across various channels including digital, email, social media, direct mail, telemarketing, and SMS, focusing on one-off donations, regular giving, sponsorship products, and lottery.

- London office: £32,600 to £35,000
- Remote: £29,000 to £32,600
Location: London or Remote

As the Direct Marketing Executive, you will:

  • Manage the delivery of retention campaigns from concept to evaluation.
  • Use data insights to inform campaign strategies across digital, email, social media, direct mail, telemarketing, and SMS channels.
  • Work closely with data teams and external agencies to ensure effective campaign execution.
  • Track KPIs, analyse trends, and report on campaign performance to inform future strategies.
  • Contribute to the retention strategy, supporting budget and income targets.
  • Develop and manage relationships with supporters and ensure all activities align with their brand strategy.


About You:

  • Previous experience in direct marketing within the third sector, with experience running effective national or regional campaigns.
  • Strong organisational, time management, and analytical skills. Proficiency with Microsoft applications and fundraising databases like Dynamics 365 or Raiser's Edge.
  • Understanding of usability testing, user research methods, conversion rate optimisation, and compliance with Fundraising Regulator guidance and Data Protection Act 2018.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
