This animal charity is looking for a new digital engagement manager to come and join their team. Within this role you can look forward to maintaining, developing and growing the charity's digital profile, including their website, social media and other emerging channels and tools. You will be supporting the communications team's awareness building, engagement and donor retention aims and liaise with the fundraising team to help them enhance their digital presence.
You will be maintaining and expanding the charity's social media profiles and developing the main website, ensuring that all content is compelling and supports the brand. You will be continually improving the user experience, working closely with the digital fundraising officer to review donor journeys and supporting income generation. Line managing one member of staff, you will be working closely with other members of the organisation on the overall digital strategy and managing any further external agencies as when required.
The ideal candidate will have experience in:
- Managing digital channels, including web and social media
- Experience in front end development, and managing back end developers
- Strong Project Management experience
