Join Our Team: You will be a pivotal member of the Development team, collaborating closely with a dedicated group led by the Head of Development. This team focuses on securing major philanthropic gifts, supporting priority initiatives, and advancing university projects encompassing capital campaigns, groundbreaking research, and scholarships.

Your Role: As a Development Executive, you will leverage your expertise in major donor fundraising to secure significant philanthropic contributions from individuals. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Building Relationships: Engaging with high-net-worth individuals, managing a portfolio of prospects, and establishing robust connections to ensure the success of fundraising efforts.
  • Fundraising Initiatives: Creating compelling funding proposals and impactful reports to secure gifts of up to £25,000, supporting various university projects and initiatives.
  • Event Coordination: Collaborating with colleagues to organise events, seminars, and meetings that strengthen relationships with stakeholders and promote the university's impactful work.
  • Communication Excellence: Effectively communicating complex academic projects to both internal and external audiences, maximising visibility for campaigns and philanthropic projects.
