TPP's client is a national disability charity that connects people with their communities. They tackle social isolation and the barriers that can cause this in the lives of disabled and vulnerable people. Through a wide range of disability, education, training and community services, out client promotes inclusion and wellbeing for all.

They are seeking a Deputy Manager based in Bournemouth, to join their friendly and inspired team that supports individuals to live fulfilled lives.

About the role:
You will be supporting the Registered Manager with all aspects of service delivery for two sites in Bournemouth. The first is a residential home for younger adults with physical and learning disabilities. The second service is a supported living purpose-built block of 14 flats where they provide 24 hour care and support. You will have a key role in maintaining high standards and ensuring that their care and support makes a real difference to individuals' lives.

Your ability to lead, manage, co-ordinate and support staff teams will prove especially crucial, as will having good sense of humour, initiative and a forward-thinking attitude. Through Deputising for the Registered Manager and taking advantage of development opportunities, you will be ideally placed to develop your skills, knowledge and leadership experience.

About you:
You will have knowledge of the strengths and needs of people who experience challenges because of sensory/physical/learning disabilities, as well as sound, up to date knowledge of CQC standards and key lines of enquiry.

You will need proven experience of leading and managing a team with experience of working within a multi-disciplinary environment, both inward and outward facing.

Ideally, you will have a Level 4 Diploma in Health and Social Care, or equivalent qualification. A driving license and the flexibility to undertake on-call duties, as well as flexibility to cover a late shift or weekends on occasions if required, are crucial aspects of this exciting role.
