The TPP Fundraising and Development team are delighted to be supporting a leading children's cancer charity with the search to a Deputy Director of Public Fundraising vacancy. This is a career-defining opportunity for a senior fundraiser to join a well known organisation that has an ambitious growth strategy. You'll be accountable for developing a new and business-critical function for the charity - working closely with the Director of Fundraising and other colleagues across the Fundraising SMT to deliver significant income growth across all areas of Public Fundraising.
Leading the strategic development across a range of public fundraising activities, you will set strategic goals and translate these into insight-led, profitable and engaging mass market supporter relationships. You will ensure that relevant operational goals, objectives, processes and support are in place to support the entire Fundraising team. You will also work strategically across the organisation to identify income opportunities and strategic alliances for the Public Fundraising team.
In order to be considered for this excellent opportunity, you will require a proven track record in the fundraising sector, with experience of leadership across a wide range of public fundraising income streams - especially Individual Giving. You will have demonstrable experience of leading a complex, multi-channel direct marketing programme - ideally including face to face fundraising, digital, lotteries and events marketing. You will have experience of successful internal and external high-level relationship building, of change management, and of developing strategic plans and of turning them into cohesive operational plans.
