Departmental Administrator - TEMPORARY £16.02ph

Our client an international development charity are seeking a senior administrator with previous exposure in a similar environment to support in the policy and advocacy team so an interest in this area would be highly beneficial.

The purpose of this role is to provide pro-active administrative support to the Director of Policy, Advocacy and Programmes, enabling them to deliver on core accountabilities and assisting them to manage workload through management and prioritisation of information flow in the Director's work area.

The purpose of this role is also to provide administrative support to the department, in particular to the Department Management Team and to the Advocacy Team. The role also supports specific project work within the Director?s remit. The postholder is expected to work flexibly and provide support and cover for Administrator colleagues during times of high demand and/or absence.

Essential Experience and Knowledge:

- Substantial proven experience providing PA support to a high level role
- Extensive experience and expertise in using Outlook calendar and email, including diary management, coordinating meetings and Experience of working for an NGO making travel arrangements
- Experience of working with budgets
- Proficiency in setting up videoconferencing and skype calls

Employment Type: Temporary 6-8 weeks
Salary/rate: £16.02ph + holiday
