Job title: Database Co-ordinator

Salary: £13 per hour

This post will be responsible for coordinating a period of administration to ensure all required data is successfully imported into Raiser's Edge and all data in the system is clean and usable. The post holder will also be required to support key staff in understanding and confidently making use of basic processes within the database.

  1. Duties and Responsibilities
  • Work closely with all departments to ensure relevant data is cleaned, correctly formatted and imported into Raiser's Edge
  • Work through the snagging list, from the recent database implementation, to ensure the system is best set up and all data is usable, considering both back-end organisation of data and front-end accessibility for users
  • Work with departments to ensure a range of relevant reports from Raiser's Edge are set up, and that these can be aligned with those from the Learning Department's database Artifax
  • Liaise with Finance to ensure gift processes are best aligned with Sage Accounting requirements and provide cover for the Post to Finance reporting process
  • Support key staff to learn and gain confidence with basic processes around adding and updating records, importing and exporting data
  • Support the Development Officer with donation and membership processing as required
  • Support a range of data-related processes, including working with guest lists and mailing lists
  • A range of other administrative duties as may be required
  1. Person specification
  • Experience of database administration, in particular Raiser's Edge, is essential (experience of using RE NXT is desirable but not essential)
  • Solid experience of MS Office, and Excel in particular
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to quickly build relationships and the confidence to support others in developing data skills
  • Ability to work independently and be proactive
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure.
  • Able to work as part of a team and support other departments
  • High level of numeracy and literacy skills
  • Detail orientated with strong organisational skills
