TPP are recruiting a Database Analyst on a fixed term contract until June 2020. This role is part time working 3 days a week (9-5pm). You would be required to work Monday, Tuesday and Friday until December. From January to June there is flexibility on the 3 days you work.
Application Support
Administer the helpdesk, as the first line response for Income and Engagement CRM, second line for the Services Case Management system, along with the administration of Sharepoint and a number of smaller data-driven systems
Provide user support for application, prioritising and responding to user requests to proactively assess support needs as required and deliver solutions to enquiries
Resolve any technical problems encountered, or select the appropriate channel to escalate
Responsible for the up-to-date maintenance of the helpdesk ticketing system
Work with 3rd party suppliers for the required escalation
Database Maintenance
Maintain database technical maintenance procedures inc. daily routines and back-ups
Ensure the standardised and regulated maintenance of the Administrative areas of systems and applications
Apply high-level technical knowledge in selecting data stored in complex structures
Undertake SQL updates, queries, and stored procedures as appropriate
Project Work
Assist Database Developers within larger development projects
Undertake smaller development tasks to manage independently
Design and create user guides for technical and business processes
Skills and experience
An in-depth understanding of data and information management systems
Solid experience working with SQL databases (including select & update statements)
High-level working knowledge of MS Office and SharePoint
Strong customer service skills, ability to communicate and interact with internal staff and external organisations
Problem-solving mind-set with a methodical and organised approach
Application support and incident management experience would be advantageous
