A growing multi academy trust is currently looking to recruit a Data Technician to join their data team. This is a permanent position paying £18-20k with a generous benefits package and is based in Newton Abbot, Devon.

The Data function is pivotal to the daily running of the Trust, with systems supported by and analysis
reports produced by the team being used by colleagues in schools with the end goal of helping to improve
the outcomes for their pupils. As the Data Technician you will report to and work closely with the Data Analyst working on all aspects of learner data entry, validation, reporting and analysis.

Your responsibilities will include:
* Supporting all users of the school database software and various analysis packages, and logging these
requests for help on the ticketing system.
* Assisting with data entry and amendments, as requested by schools and parents.
* Using Microsoft Excel to analyse and combine data from various sources, under the direction of the
Data Analysts and Data Manager.
* Attending training to learn how to build reports in their systems using Microsoft Reporting packages,
allowing you to work alongside the Data Analysts to enhance the reports and processes.

To be successful in the role you will be proficient in using Microsoft Excel and have an ability to pick up new systems quickly. Training will be provided in this role and will suit someone that has a willingness to develop new skills.
You will be customer orientated, with a professional approach and an ability to work to multiple deadlines.
