We are working with a national body careers education organisation that supports schools and colleges to deliver modern, 21st century careers education to recruit for a Data Analyst (Visualisation). Reporting to the Senior Data and Reporting Manager you will work alongside the business intelligence analysts and researchers.

This is a permanent, full-time role working remotely although employees are encouraged to attend the office 1-2 times per month to colloborate with colleagues. The salary for this role is £33,000 - £45,000.

As the Data Analyst you will design and deliver high quality analysis of a range of data sources that supports the business and the network to achieve its strategic objectives.

Main responsibilities but are not limited to:

  • Identifying the potential data sets to support the organisation's strategic objectives around impact and effective practice.
  • Designing and delivering large complex data visualisation projects for the business
  • Contributing to the development of CEC's data strategy across business intelligence and research functions.
  • Influencing the development of digital tools to support long-term strategies.
  • Promoting an evidence-based approach to delivery across the organisation and network.

To be considered for the role you will have the following skills, knowledge, and experience.

  • Experience of implementing PowerBI as a new product within a business.
  • Knowledge of other industry software such as Jira, Slack and Confluence.
  • Ability to work to high standards of data protection.
  • Skills in collaboration and building relationships internally and externally to achieve shared goals.
  • Extensive knowledge of the English education system, including the policy landscape for careers education.
  • Quantitative data analysis skills
