The purpose of this role:
This role will act as an expert in Data Analytics's providing business critical insight to the charity's fundraising teams, and non-fundraising teams, to enable significant growth in voluntary net income and allowing colleagues to inform decision making and develop their own analysis skills.
Some of the main duties and responsibilities include:
To support the Senior Data and Insight Manager in delivering charity-wide business critical insight to fundraisers and non- fundraisers, both to optimise performance and enable colleagues to develop their own skills.
To use the data warehouse, database and potentially other business intelligence applications, to take responsibility for the data integrity reporting on issues and ensure it is fit for purpose.
To service the needs of non-fundraising and fundraising teams, identifying their business intelligence, analytics's and reporting requirements and creating schedules to meet agreed SLAs.
To deliver business intelligence, analytics's and reporting to brief, on time.
To support the up-skilling of colleagues across the charity in understanding of the segmentation model and use of data enhancement tools such as MOSAIC.
To contribute to the wider Fundraising team, taking a proactive approach to working in a high-performing and collaborative environment.
To seek out innovative and agile approaches to working, adopting lean processes and using supporter data to drive performance and supporter experience.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Working knowledge of Data Protection law and GDPR
Strong working knowledge of CRM systems and analytics's tools.
Excellent knowledge and understanding of running A/B tests
Understanding of Equality, Diversity & Inclusion principles and a commitment to apply them
Proficiency in SQL
Confident in presenting business intelligence and insight findings to stakeholders
Excellent analytical and numerical skills
Experience of working with a relationship database and data analytics's tools to support and report on activity.
Experience visualising data using tools/ applications such as Tableau, power BI or QLIK applications
Experience with Segmentation and Regression.
Experience working with customer data across multiple channels evaluating acquisition, engagement and attrition data.
Experience working with operational teams, with significant ability to communicate insight to a non-technical background, including stakeholders at all levels
