TPP are excited to be supporting a Children's charity to recruit a Data Analyst. This charity is fighting for every childhood. They support vulnerable children across the country.

The Data and Analytics department is a vital part of the charities Technology department. The department aims to achieve technology-enabled change - to help deliver our strategy through technology

Job Purpose
The Data Analyst is a key role in our drive to make evidence based decisions to improve our overall performance.

You will work with teams to understand their priorities and business needs, and provide insightful analytics to help guide communications activity. The role will help drive the development and implementation of management information and analysis, which support stakeholders and ensure they have up to date information and make evidence based decisions.

Some of the main responsibilities will be:

Work closely with Senior Data Analysts to deliver campaigns that meet objectives

Support Senior Data Analysts to develop campaign strategies and targets to maximise the effectiveness of our fundraising activities

Develop and maintain positive relationships with staff across departments to ensure campaigns are developed in a way that best meet their need

To keep abreast of relevant audience insight and best practice in direct marketing and work with key staff to use knowledge to inform campaign plans and strategies

To work across teams to provide insight on campaign performance as well as key database metrics

To correspond effectively using creative and engaging methods of communication, including written, verbal and electronic mechanisms.

Work with all members of the team to evaluate campaign activity, and identify learnings that help improve campaign outputs and ways of working

To be successful in this role you will need:
2+ years' experience in a similar role.
Demonstrable experience in applying effective numeracy skills in recording, interpreting, analysing and presenting data in clear and accurate formats to meet desired outcomes.
Experience in Faststats (or similar tool), SQL and Excel to query and analyse data.
Experience of PeopleStage (or similar tool).
Experience of reporting tools (Power BI or similar).
Good communication skills to understand, interpret and present complex information in a clear way to a range of audiences.
Ability to build, manage and develop relationships within an organisation and externally and achieve objectives through these relationships.
High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and appreciation of data quality issues.
Adaptable and flexible approach to work with the ability to manage and deliver workload to strict deadlines.
Ability to identify and devise creative solutions and opportunities and to research and evaluate their viability to achieve desired outcomes.
