An education charity who seek to transform communities impacted by social and economic change by improving individuals' life chances are recruiting for an experienced Data Analyst. You will be leading and co-ordinating all management information system needs, on internal and external requests. The team is well established and you will have support with data entry. This is a permanent post based in the Tower Hamlets area.

Key responsibilities for the Data Analyst:

Essential role in driving quality and impact across the organisation
Use data systems to provide robust, accurate and timely reports - present to SMT
Liaise with front line services and sub-contractors to ensure accuracy of data
Review and develop the data collection process
Ensure timely production and submission of requested data returns for external agencies/funding bodies

Your demonstrable experience of working on MIS and utilising your knowledge of statistics will be essential for providing useful data to the organisation and their external stakeholders. You will have confidence in utilising Excel (pivot tables)/SPSS/SAS etc to manage various data sets from working in a similar role recently. The ability to not only prepare data for decision making, but also being able to communicate and present it in a form that is easy to understand will be essential to helping the organisation make key decisions. Being used to working with various stakeholders externally and internally will be key to dealing with tight deadline requests. A highly desirable is being familiar with ESFA or using PICS.
