A leading professional institute are recruiting for a Curriculum Lead on a part-time basis for 18 months to support the review, design and development of their professional qualifications and apprenticeships.
As the Curriculum Lead you will work closely with the Learning Manager and Digital Learning Manager to provide overall project management for the design and development of syllabi and the specifications around tuition products.
The Curriculum Lead will also be the primary interface between internal teams to ensure that publications are referenced in the qualifications when necessary. You will also develop appropriate policy, grounded in best practice and the demands from employers and students.
Your role will include monitoring the quality of the support offered for the organisation's professional qualifications and making suggestions for improvements. On top of this, you will also prepare regular reports and compile information on your areas of responsibility for management.
To be considered for this role you will have good experience in curriculum development, course design and syllabus design, as well as some project management experience. You will have knowledge and experience of learning theory and pedagogy gained from a teaching and learning related qualification and must be ready to develop and present train-the-trainer courses. You will have excellent planning and organisational skills, be able to work under pressure and be a strong communicator. If you have knowledge of learning platforms and software this would be advantageous.
