An international animal welfare organisation providing veterinary and educational services in developing countries with large populations of working animals are recruiting for a Curriculum Advisor to design children's education programmes to encourage positive attitudes, develop empathy and promote children's caring behaviour towards animals.
As an ex-teacher who has been involved in curriculum development and has been in the classroom within the last 12months you will develop culturally sensitive learning resources which are used by local professionals to deliver interventions to children aged between 4years old to their late teens in formal instruction centres, extra-curricular club programmes and group visits to veterinary centres.
You will also be providing training for the trainers on the ground as well as advice and support for the outreach partners, and this will include travel to countries such as Africa, the Middle and Far East at least once a month, which also ensure you are able to balance the academic expectations of local education services with the humane learning outcomes that are the principal objectives.
If you have demonstrable experience of writing developmentally appropriate lesson plans and learning resources in any curricular or cross-curricular subject and have experience in the provision of fun extra-curricular programmes with a learning element then send a copy of your CV to the Education Team, showing what skills and experiences you have that would suit this role, quoting reference number J63171KP and we will be in touch to discuss the next stage of the process.
