A top London University are looking for a Course Operations Manager to manage their MBA programme in the Business School. You will be predominantly responsible for guiding and enhancing the MBA student journey from enquiry and application right through to graduation.
You will provide a high quality professional support to students and academic teams, as well as deputising for the Head of Academic Services as needed. The aim of this role is to manage the student experience and aspects of compliance with a particular focus on student satisfaction, employability, progression, data quality and Tier 4 compliance. You will manage a team of staff involved in programme management, attendance and student survey/ feedback management. As part of this staff management, you will get involved in staff recruitment as well as staff appraisals and probation reviews. As well as reviewing and developing the course administrative processes, you will manage the module selection processes and liaise with staff on timetabling. Acting as the School's designated 'SITS Strategic User', you will oversee the effective operation of SITS throughout and develop and manage effective assessment systems.
In order to make a success of this role, you will have worked in a management role within Higher Education previously and have extensive experience of line management. As well as experience of working with SITS or a similar computerised record system, you will have the ability to take a senior leadership role within the team. Excellent interpersonal skills and a knowledge of Higher Education regulatory frameworks would aid your application.
