An exciting fixed term opportunity (7 months) has arisen to work with a community development/environmental

organisation as a Contract Programme Manager. The position will heavily focus on the oversight of the key programme operations surrounding a contract that was awarded to the NFP back in 2014. Based in Central London, the successful candidate will be responsible for full contract compliance.

Main responsibilities for the Contract Programme Manager:

  • Ensure effective programme planning, delivery and performance to all deliverables
  • Support operational compliance within contractual specifications

  • Implement  robust and effective financial management of the programme

  • Track and report all aspects of delivery performance against agreed contract KPI’s and service performance indicators

  • Ensure ongoing delivery of health, safety and wellbeing culture is adhered to

  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with all stakeholders relevant to the contract

Essential criteria for the Contract Programme Manager:

  • Extensive programme management experience, at planning, operational and delivery stages

  • Able to translate contractual requirements into deliverable and measurable outcomes

  • Experience of awarding contracts to external delivery agencies

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Ability to evaluate complex programmes, make recommendations as necessary for improvements, whilst delivering results on time and in budget

  • PRINCE2 certified and project management experience desirable
