An independent educational charity, membership body and awarding organisation are recruiting for a new Compliance and Quality Assurance Manager to ensure that their awarding arm complies with the requirements of all regulatory bodies.
This will include ensuring that suitable quality assurance systems and procedures are maintained, adhered to and provide evidence of compliance; ensuring that regulatory policies, procedures and requirements are met by applicants before approval as Centres; and will monitor and assure the compliance of approved Centres with regulatory policies, procedures and requirements.
You will also promote communication between the organisation, it's Centres and other stakeholders.
Coming from AO background with experience of Ofqual's conditions of recognition, you will act in a standalone role, to ensure internal compliance processes as well as manage a team of contractors such as EQA's to ensure central and external quality assurance standards.
As well as the day to day investigations into malpractice and maladministration, as well as reporting to the boards, committees and regulators, you will also work on a rolling programme of reviews as well as specialist upcoming projects.
Although you will not hold the RO title, you will deputise in this position when required and act as the direct point of contact to Ofqual and the regulators.
This role will require you to be adaptable and hands on, as well as a proactive and independent workers. You will also be a confident communicator and attend regular events and centre visits.
