An established regulatory body with a focus on protecting patients has a unique opportunity as a Complaints Mediation Officer to join a team of 6 on a part time basis (21 hours). This is not a typical complaints handling role as you will be the mediator between 2 parties outside your organisation. This is a permanent role based in Croydon.
Main responsibilities for this Complaints Officer role:
Deliver an outstanding quality of service to all customers.
Assist both parties to achieve an agreed resolution.
Manage a case load from first contact to resolution.
Co-ordinates and regularly updates all parties.
Participate in development of resolution processes and procedures.
Essential criteria for this Complaints Officer role:
Experience in a similar role providing excellent customer service and a empathic ear.
Display well developed inter-personal skills.
Ability to manage own workload effectively with minimal supervision.
Evidences outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
Excellent administration and organisational skills.
Experience of writing effective letters and preparing clear reports.
