About the Organisation:

TPP’s client is a highly reputable Mental Health charity who promotes and campaigns for the right of people with mental health issues.  They are seeking a part-time (3 days a week) Community Programmes Coordinator to join their friendly team based near Victoria and Pimlico tube stations.

About the role:

Reporting into the Community Programmes Services Manager, the Community Programmes Coordinator will be supporting the delivery of a range of community programmes to support people with mental health problems on their recovery journey. You will be developing and delivering person-centred services that promotes recovery, wellbeing and independence. You will be responsible for undertaking risk assessments, as required, and ensuring services operate within the agreed budget, controlling appropriate expenses and reimbursements.

About you:

To be considered for this exciting opportunity you will be qualified to degree level or equivalent in Social Care, Mental Health, volunteering or a related field. You will also have experience of working within a social care setting and/or supporting people with mental health problems. You will be confident in delivering person-centred services, training groups and delivering presentations. You will also have excellent communication skills (verbally, listening and writing) and you will have the ability to work within a fixed budget.
