An environmental charity working to greening cities on a global scale are recruiting for a Community and Education Coordinator for one of their expanding programmes to transform areas in schools into vibrant outdoor spaces that excite and teach children about growing and eating healthy food.
This role will involve working with teachers to create planting plans and growing guides and linking these into teaching plans. You will also develop curriculum resources and deliver training for schools in London and across the UK.
As someone who is passionate and confident about planting and growing fruit and vegetables and has experience of managing projects this will be a fantastic role for you to have a positive impact on the lives of young people in urban settings.
You will be someone who thrives in working in a fast paced, busy environment and doesn't mind occasional overnight travel or weekend work for time back in lieu.
