This leading national user-led health charity is looking for an enthusiastic Community and Challenge Events Manager to join their fundraising team.

You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to identify, develop and manage relationships with new or existing groups and individuals, engaging them in fundraising activities and events including the London Marathon and the charity's own flagship walking event. You will manage all aspects of the charity's running, cycling and challenge event activity, including recruitment, support & hospitality, marketing and promotion of places, securement of gifts to use as incentives and liaison with the event organisers.

Volunteer management experience will be useful as you will need to retain, support and develop a network of volunteers who are able to act as  ambassadors for the charity in the community, increasing awareness of and support for their work at a local and regional level.

This role would suit somebody who is looking to take a step up to manager level within a supportive environment. You will be based in a bright and modern open-plan office with your colleagues in the fundraising team, with some travel outside of the office to cover events (time off in lieu will be given).

If you are interested in applying, please email your CV to fundraising@tpp.co.uk quoting the reference number 58719LS. The proposed interview dates are Tuesday 20th and Wednesday 21st December so please express your interest as soon as possible.

All fundraisers who secure a role through TPP receive a £100 CPD voucher to use with the Institute of Fundraising.  More details are available on the TPP Recruitment website http://www.tpp.co.uk/CPDvoucher.
