All Survivors Project conducts research and advocacy to improve the global response to every victim/survivor of sexual violence in situations of armed conflict and forced displacement. We document cases of abuse against men and boys to complement work on women and girls to inform and support global responses that include all victims/survivors of conflict-related sexual violence. All Survivors Project is an independent, international research and advocacy organisation working with survivors, governmental and non-governmental stakeholders to strengthen national and international responses to conflict-related sexual violence and to ensure that the rights and dignity of all victims/survivors is respected and protected.


Communications and Creativity

  • Take forward strategy to increase broadcast and online media interest in All Survivor's Project's work
  • Build relationships with journalists in print and broadcast media and increase media attention to the issue of sexual violence against men and boys in situations of conflict and forced displacement

Social Media

  • Develop and broaden social media profile working under the supervision of the Project Coordinator by:
  • Creating a long term social media plan marketing calendar
  • Updating social media accounts, including posting on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn
  • Tracking social media analytics and report results and new ideas


  • Following up on news events on current conflicts and produce short summaries for our e-newsletter


  • In the process of completing a degree in Journalism, Media, Communications or similar with an interest in human rights issues
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Ability to absorb and present complex political analysis in an accessible manner and draft statements and other relevant material for use on website and social media
  • Ability to manage own time and multiple projects with potentially competing deadlines


  • Direct knowledge and experience of international human rights and humanitarian issues
  • Valuable transferable skills and an opportunity for a good, strong reference
  • Articles and blog content to use as writing samples for a career in journalism, media or communications


  • 6-month internship
  • Expected to work remotely - flexible working hours, 10 hours per week
