This is an excellent opportunity to develop communications within a leading International Medical Society working in women’s health.  This diverse senior role will see you build and implement a detailed communications strategy to drive marketing, PR and stakeholder engagement for the charity’s continued success. 

You will support the CEO and Board to mobilise contributors and will be responsibilities for:

  • Planning and monitoring internal and external communications
  • Managing the newly launched 25 year campaign @ISUOG (#loveultrasound)
  • Ensuring stakeholders are informed and engaged
  • Ensuring integrity and impact of the charity’s image and messaging
  • Developing external partnerships across the organisation
  • Managing media or PR activities
  • Contributing to the long term vision through the above

Essential criteria

  • 1st degree (preferably in science or health related field)
  • Proven success in building communications strategy and quality processes
  • Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal) across different professions and cultures
  • Advance knowledge of communications media and a solid understanding of events
  • Excellent stakeholder and member engagement success


  • Further degree (marketing and / or science communications)
  • Working with international communities or in other languages (particularly Spanish, Mandarin, Portuguese or French)
  • Knowledge of dealing with Charity Boards, Committees and/or international medical professionals
  • Website development / content management
