A well-established Debt Advise NGO are seeking a Commercial Manager to join their team. The main focus of this permanent role will be to act as a trusted business partner to support the commissioning decision making process.
Main duties for the Commercial Manager:
To lead end-to-end high value or complex procurement exercises and to manage all associated supplier relations
Optimise supply chains and deliver value for money for the organisation
To manage Commercial Executive team members
Managing procurement exercises effectively and in accordance with EU Procurement Directives
Drafting contracts from a suite of standard templates and seeking legal advice where appropriate
Working with the business to define Commercial strategy
Essential criteria for the Commercial Manager:
Knowledge of working to EU Procurement regulations within a third sector or public sector
First class commercial negotiation skills and a high level of commercial awareness
In depth knowledge of the complete procurement and contract management cycle
Detailed understanding of public procurement and practices including the EU directives
MCIPS qualification highly desirable.
