Chief Executive Officer
Salary: Circa £65k depending on experience
The Patients Association is an independent and inspirational charity that has been providing advice on health and social care services to patients and the public for 53 years. They are looking for a new CEO who can build on their current CEO’s many achievements and who will further enhance the services they provide.
The role will have an exciting mix of strategic leadership, fundraising, operational management, and partnership development. Liaison with government and other national bodies, public speaking and media interviews are key elements of the job.
The new CEO will: have experience of working in a senior role in a health and/or social care related charity; be highly empathetic and compassionate; be a motivated self-starter with an understanding of fundraising and relationship building. A natural networker, you will have proven profile-raising and communications skills.
Working alongside a committed Board of Trustees and a small but dedicated team of staff and volunteers, you will bring drive and a passion to rapidly enhance the Patients Association’s impact and the support it provides to the public, patients and their families.
