Our client is a highly regarded successful, local growing volunteering charity based in central London. An organisation that believes in the power of volunteering and the immense rewards it can bring to individuals from all backgrounds, the organisations they support and the broader local community, Volunteer Centre Kensington & Chelsea (VCKC) has championed volunteering in the Royal Borough for over 45 years. Following a recent strategic office move, they are now seeking a part-time Chief Executive to take the organisation through its next period of growth.
The CE will be primarily responsible for promoting the value of volunteering locally, developing external and internal relationships and alliances to deliver effective and innovative services and projects, securing future funding and driving forward the organisation’s strategy. This part-time role, which is supported by a full-time COO, is an exciting opportunity for an experienced voluntary sector leader to drive forward the mission of VCKC with a focus on outcomes and sustainability.
You will provide leadership, develop funds, and bring networking and influencing skills to the charity. With excellent communication, both written and spoken, strategic development and implementation experience, and an appreciation of the value of volunteering, you will ideally have recently worked with local stakeholders in urban Boroughs.
For more information and to discuss the opportunity, please contact Rob Hayter or Brigitte Stundner on the details below.
Closing date: 16th June 2017 at 9am with interviews to be held on 30th June 2017.
We value diversity at TPP and welcome applications from all sections of the community.
