Seafarers Hospital Society is a long-established maritime charity dedicated to meeting the health, welfare and advice needs of seafarers and their dependants. With a changing healthcare landscape, ever-broadening wellbeing services and a bicentenary in 12 months' time, this is an exciting time to join the primary maritime health charity.

The Chief Executive will lead the Society's work and develop new initiatives, maintaining and growing the partnerships and relationships required for delivery. This will include commissioning, monitoring and evaluating projects; promoting the Society through events and other ambassadorial opportunities, being a champion for Seafarers' health and wellbeing; and horizon-scanning in order to capitalise on changes in the health and wellbeing space.

With a proven track record at both a strategic and operational level, you will have a history of developing partnerships and collaborating to deliver health and wellbeing programmes. From conceiving initiatives, through planning, budgeting and evaluating you will be able to demonstrate successful projects and the impact you delivered. Ideally this will have been supporting an occupational community.

The closing date is Friday 17th January 2020 at 9am. Please note any offer of employment will be subject to a satisfactory disclosure report from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
