A growing children’s charity is working exclusively with TPP to recruit a Challenge Events Manager to join their successful fundraising team. This is a full time and permanent position working at their head office based in Surrey.
You will be responsible for the charity’s challenge events programme, and line management of two fundraisers in your team. You will be expected to manage all major running and cycling events, as well as working on new bespoke events for the charity. This role also manages student/alumni activities with this charity having particularly strong relationships with higher education institutions surrounding challenge events. You will have experience of managing mass recruitment for challenge events.
Challenge events generates over £1.5 million for this charity and is one of their most lucrative income streams. They see this area as a lead generator where they can begin supporter journeys, so you will be expected to work collaboratively with the wider fundraising team of 15.
