Orchestras Live seeks a new Chair to deliver strong leadership to the Board of Trustees. If you love music - orchestral or otherwise - and believe in its power to transform lives, if you believe that the arts are crucial to promoting social inclusion, health and wellbeing, have relevant experience and the time to commit personally to the organisation, this role could be of interest to you.

Orchestras Live believes that orchestras are for everyone. Live orchestral music has the power to inspire people for a lifetime. We create environments where orchestral music can thrive. We work to ensure communities across the country have access to world-class orchestral experiences through a range of dynamic relationships with partners including promoters, orchestras, local authorities, funders, music education hubs and community groups.

We are looking for an exceptional individual with the experience, integrity and skills necessary to act as a powerful ambassador for Orchestras Live, and to lead the Board in the governance of the organisation. Leadership experience in any sector and an understanding of the role of not-for-profit Boards are essential.

This role is home-based.
