This is a hybrid role, 3 days in the office, 2 days from home (on average).

As the inaugural CEO of BIA, you will work closely with the founding Trustees and you will be at the forefront of the charity's mission, driving strategic initiatives and fostering a culture of innovation and impact.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Ambassador of the charity. Build and maintain relationships with trustees, key stakeholders, including donors, partners, volunteers and community leaders.
  • Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all aspects of the charity's work
  • Governance: Ensuring all legal, statutory and regulatory responsibilities are fulfilled

Expectations:

  • Visionary Leadership: We're seeking a proactive CEO with experience joining and growing an early-stage charity. You should have an entrepreneurial mindset, clear vision and the ability to inspire others.
  • Proven Expertise: Successful senior-level experience in a charity, preferably with knowledge of mental health issues and referrals.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of stakeholders, harnessing and motivating volunteers.
  • Passion for Our Cause: A deep commitment to supporting mental health accessibility for Muslim women.

If you are a strategic thinker with a passion for making a difference, we want to hear from you!
