A leading awarding and professional membership body based in a stunning location in Hertfordshire are recruiting for a Careers Coordinator to develop attraction and retention strategies of future professionals into their industry.
As someone with excellent communication and engagement skills both in person and remotely through the use of creative writing and online/social media tools you will inform, engage and excite young people and their influencers on career opportunities as well as support and develop those already on programmes with the institute through their membership journey. You will be a key part of these individuals career journeys throughout their career as you will also support them in the future with upskilling in order to continue their membership with the institute as Registered Professional Members.
Coming from, or having knowledge of Education you will support all relevant parties, from students to centres, acting as the first line of contact in order to offer support and advice as to how to progress in their chosen career as well as promote the opportunities and benefits for taking this career route.
This role will be involved in a wide range of activities and programmes including working on the new apprenticeship standards, membership conversion campaigns, on boarding activities, attending networking opportunities and events, content creation for resources and media outlets, CPD audits and CPD development, cross company and volunteer engagement. There will also be some travel across the UK expected in order to engage with stakeholders and students in person.
