We are working on behalf of a world ranking top ten University to recruit a Careers Consultant within their Business Management school. This role is paying £36,452- £43,956 per annum with an excellent benefits package including opportunities for professional development, 30 days annual leave on top of bank holidays and University closure days and an attractive pension.

Working with undergraduates on the Management Science degree programme you will provide career development support to develop student's prospects and career management skills. You will work closely with academic staff and the careers staff to design and deliver an effective careers education providing information, advice and guidance in helping students to acquire the skills and resources to secure graduate jobs into the world's leading consultancy companies. You will develop and maintain professional knowledge and awareness of the graduate labour market within these sectors and the recruitment processes of key organisations.

To be successful in the role you will have the following skills and experience:

  • a background in the business, finance or consulting sectors (including recruitment experience in, or for, these sectors), and/or
  • experience of working in a university business or management school, and/or

  • experience of supporting the career development of business/finance/management students, and/or

  • Experience of careers guidance and development work with students, coupled with an interest in developing expertise in the business/finance/management sectors.
