About the role:
The organisation is seeking a Care Manager to manage a 54 bed home based in North London. The home provides its residents with the highest levels of care and an extensive day programme of activities and is based on a campus which incorporates an independent living scheme as well as a day centre.

The role of the Care Manager is to ensure the home provides a person-centred service to all their residents, building relationships with them, their families and the local community. This enables every individual to remain independent and have choices which meet their personal needs. The Care Manager is accountable for making sure that the service provided is delivered in line with all current legislation and policies and that all staff are trained and supported to deliver to their high standards.

What you'll need:
The successful candidate will have previous experience working with older people, including with dementia, leading a care team and proven experience of day to day management in a care environment. You will also have experience in working with CQC and an in-depth understanding of CQC regulations.

An NVQ or CQF level 4 qualification will be advantageous as is experience of security and building management. However, experience of administering medication, experience of dealing with emergency care, and experience with safeguarding adults will be essential.
