I am working with a well-known youth charity who are looking to recruit a Campaigns Officer on a temporary basis for a period of 12 weeks.
Reporting to the Head of PR & Advocacy, you will join the team to help towards leading on the delivery of two live campaigns that the organisation is currently running, ensuring that the campaigns work alongside PR, Research & Policy to deliver the best possible outcomes.
- Lead the delivery of impactful and successful campaigns, including organising campaigning activities and events - writing and creation of campaign materials both on & offline, representing and promoting the charity and their campaigns at public events and media/political briefing & PR opportunities
- Monitor and report on campaign activity to the senior management teams and volunteers, delivering monthly reports to measure success of campaign
- Champion campaigns across the directorate, keeping internal and external stakeholders up-to-date with progress of campaigns
- Provide expert advice and guidance on campaigning best practice and creative campaigning ideas to the PR & Advocacy team and others across the organisation
If you have a proven track record in working on or leading campaigns then this could be the right role for you. This would also be ideal for candidates with charity sector experience, particularly for someone who has worked with young people. Please note that this role will likely include some element of travel to events.
