I am currently working on an amazing opportunity to join a major international humanitarian charity on a 6 month contract, to assist with one of their major campaigns that they will be running with one of their partners runs smoothly. 

This role offers the post holder the chance to be the key player to ensure the smooth delivery of a major campaign that they are going to be running. You will be responsible for the successful delivery of the activity streams of the campaign and be the key point of contact for the partner. You will be keeping all relevant stakeholders informed, have a clear understanding of the progress of the campaign and be liaising with several internal teams to ensure that external communications reflect the currently policy priorities. You will also be organising events, including PR events, in conjunction with the communications team to build an understanding among the network of supporters regarding the issues the charity works on. You will also ensure that the digital communications meet and exceed the target number of actions, and maximise the brand potential for both organisations at all times.

The ideal post holder will have experience in the following areas:

  • Project management
  • Executing political and activism campaigns engaging with a range of audiences
  • Public Affairs/Advocacy experience, including an understanding of the UK political decision making process
  • Stakeholder management experience
  • Good understanding of the media and digital communications landscape, including an interest in emerging digital channels
