As well as offering over 250 performances per year at our purpose-built theatre, Chickenshed is also an educational establishment delivering Level 3 and Undergraduate courses. With huge Children's Theatre and Youth Theatre membership schemes for 5 - 21 year olds and an ongoing programme of outreach projects working with some of the hardest to reach communities, Chickenshed is truly 'Theatre Changing Lives.'


Overview of Role

After many years of outsourcing our catering provision, from September 2019 Chickenshed will be taking the running of its café back in-house. This new café will become a clear and visible expression of our charitable aims. We require enthusiastic and motivated volunteers to support us throughout the day, working in a number of roles, such as baristas, bar staff, waiter/waitresses and assistants to the chefs.


Responsibilities

Providing a warm, friendly welcome and excellent customer service to audience members and other visitors to Chickenshed. Roles may include waiting at tables, serving drinks from the Bar, barista duties, clearing tables, assisting the chefs.

Training

Training and support will be provided.


Times and Commitment

A combination of regular and occasional shifts will be available.
