A unique opportunity has arisen within an established social care membership organisation to be the driving force behind their various programmes/products. As Business Development Officer you will directly contribute to the growth of essential business development for this organisation that also has a proven track record in offering an environment where you yourself can develop. This is initially a 12 month contract role with the scope to go permanent on target delivery. Based in London it offers an extensive benefits package that includes flexible working/life balance. Expect to target and engage with blue chip through to local authority.
Key responsibilities for this Business Development Officer:
To develop, deliver and grow earned income activities.
Present in person to senior level on external meetings.
Stakeholder and relationship management at senior level - external and internal.
Arranging face to face engagement for development opportunities, including event networking.
Maintain and seek development opportunities with existing accounts.
Drive the research for potential development prospects.
Essential criteria for this Business Development Officer:
Demonstrable experience of sales target achievements.
Stakeholder engagement/account management experience up to senior level.
Proven track record in business development results.
The ability to sell multiple services/products from blue chip to local authority.
A natural networker with outstanding organisational skills.
Experience of working alongside marketing departments on promotional material.
Confident in delivering a potential client list through research.
