An established national charity are seeking a Business Development Manager to join their team.
The successful candidate will support with the development of the charity?s trading strategy and ensure profitability within this area.
Main duties for the Business Development Manager:
To progress the charity?s trading strategy working closely with fundraising and other senior management
Manage and analyse all aspects of the charities trading catalogues
Use web analytics to monitor key site performance indicators
Ensure all trading activity is integrated into mainstream fundraising
To lead on the development of the charity?s trading partnerships and act as the first point of contact for partnership enquiries
Lead on the development of product ranges and manage mail order distribution
Manage the budget for this division providing reporting and analysis to senior management
To work closely with marketing and digital teams ensuring smooth running of the new website
Essential criteria for the Business Development Manager:
Commercial sales/ marketing experience
Experience of managing budgets
Experience of managing a trading function within a large organisation
Negotiating and influencing skills
Knowledge of analytics tools and web analytical
Knowledge of mail order operating procedures
Educated to degree level or equivalent
