An ambitious charity which links employers with young people to build their employment skills and life chances is seeking a Business Development Manager for a 12 month FTC maternity cover.
The Business Development Manager will take responsibility for developing new corporate partnerships and managing existing accounts or prospects. The focus will be sourcing student internships, developing employee engagement initiatives, sourcing work place visits and pro-bono support and gifts in kind. From this you will lead on all stages of the acquisition processes involving research, proposals and presentations to senior level individuals within the commercial and education sector. Finally, you will promote the charities fundraising and cultivation activities and participate in annual events.
You will have a commercial or charity background with experience of income generation and a sound track record of meeting financial targets. You will have experience of giving presentations and a natural ability to build relationships with partners of a senior level. Finally, you will have exceptional organisational skills and are able to manage workloads effectively enabling you to meet deadlines.
