We are seeking to recruit a Business Development Manager to join a newly established team in a vibrant National Education Charity.
If you have a proven track record in the generation and diversification of income, are great at connecting with people and communities and enjoy building and maintaining relationships with a variety of stakeholders then this could be the role for you. Our client has ambitious targets for income generation to support the development of their educational work and the role carries responsibility for delivery against strategic plans as part of the national Business Development Team.
We are looking for someone with considerable skills and experience, including in bid writing and the submission of tenders and proposals to a range of funders, commissioners and grant givers. Experience of working in the social or non-profit sector will be an advantage.
Based in the East Midlands region you will work closely with the Senior Business Development team and the Regional Education Manager to develop an ambitious income development plan for the region aligning with local educational priorities and the national income growth strategy.
This role will allow you a significant amount of flexibility and the opportunity to work with a committed and dedicated Education team and volunteers. Salary: £30,844 (usual starting salary) - £35,249 - (subject to forthcoming job evaluation and grading process)
