Our client, a mental health charity has an opportunity for an experienced bid writer/copy writer to join them as a Business Development&Support Officer. This role will be based from home and there is an option to join on a permanent or contract basis. The main purpose of your role will include liaison with potential customers/partners, preparation and submission of bids and applications in response to competitive tenders and for grants and trusts, and development of implementation plans to support bid submissions.

Key responsibilities for this opportunity:

Develop bid responses to meet specifications
Format bid documents to ensure that partner requirements are reflected in the bid
Ensure the bid is informed by a detailed understanding of the bid evaluation criteria
Remain aware of upcoming bid opportunities
Understanding potential partner needs and building relationships to support winning business
Support the development of implementation plans which support bid applications
Evaluate unique circumstances and make recommendations
Support the project planning and reporting process
Develop effective communications to positively engage operational teams with developing projects

Essential criteria for this opportunity:

Demonstrable experience at bid writer/copy writer level
Proven experience of developing and writing bids
A natural relationship builder that knows how to translate this to the needs of the role
Delivering under pressure multiple tasks to tight deadlines
Knowledge of grant and trust application processes is desirable
